Terms and Conditions
Ve-Co Landscaping and Design (operated by Floora Ltd)
These Terms and Conditions govern the agreement between Ve-Co Landscaping and Design ("we", "us", or "our") and you ("the client") for the provision of landscaping and related services in the United Kingdom.
1. Quotes
We offer a free initial site visit and quotation. A second quote is also free of charge. For any additional quotations or complex price comparisons beyond this, a fee may be charged, which will be agreed in advance.
2. Materials Procurement
We can source and supply materials for your project based on our agreement. Please note we are unable to purchase unrelated personal items (e.g. cigarettes, domestic household bulbs).
3. Site Access & Parking
The client must ensure there is sufficient access to the property for our team and vehicles. Parking arrangements and a suitable area for storing materials must be provided. Any related costs (e.g., parking permits or fines) are the client’s responsibility.
4. Payment Terms
-
Projects over £700:
-
40% of the labour cost and the full cost of materials (if we are supplying) are due before the project begins.
-
40% is due at the mid-point of the project.
-
20% is due on project completion.
-
-
Projects between £350–£700:
No deposit may be necessary, but full payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed. -
Final Balance:
For minor remaining tasks (no more than one day's work for one person), the client may withhold up to £300 until resolved.
5. Additional or Delayed Work
Requests for additional work not originally quoted will either be:
-
Treated as a separate project (if within our scope), or
-
Given a grace period of two weeks for completion by others (if outside our expertise).
In the event of significant delays, we reserve the right to invoice for completed work up to that point.
6. Changes to Materials
If you wish to change materials after they have been agreed upon, we will reassess the project. This may result in additional costs and a revised timeline. Such changes may be treated as a separate project.
7. Cleaning
We clean the site at the end of each working day and on project completion. However, we are not professional cleaners and cannot guarantee deep cleaning standards. If a professional cleaning service is required, we can arrange one and include it in the final invoice.
8. Waste and Rubbish Removal
Unless explicitly agreed (verbally or in writing), the client is responsible for arranging waste disposal. We can assist with this upon request for an additional charge.
9. Remaining Materials
Surplus materials will be returned to suppliers or disposed of appropriately. If you request we store them in your shed or other areas, a small handling fee may apply.
10. Invoicing
A final invoice will be issued at the end of the project once all due payments have been made.
11. Cancellations
You may cancel your project before work commences. However, any unrecoverable material costs or preparation expenses already incurred must be reimbursed.
If we need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, we will refund any advance payments for work not yet carried out or materials not yet purchased.
12. Complaints & Disputes
We are committed to high-quality workmanship and professional service. If you have any concerns:
-
Contact us via phone or email with a clear description of your complaint.
-
We will aim to resolve it promptly and fairly.
Unreasonable or abusive behaviour may result in termination of services.
If services are terminated, we will assess the work completed and either:
-
Provide a fair refund, or
-
Invoice for outstanding work performed up to that date.
Governing Law:
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
13. Liability
We take care to deliver our services to a high standard. However, we cannot accept liability for:
-
Delays caused by weather or external factors beyond our control,
-
Damage caused by pre-existing site conditions (e.g. poor drainage, hidden utilities),
-
Losses arising from changes requested mid-project unless agreed in writing.
14. Data Protection
We take client privacy seriously. Personal information you provide (e.g. name, address, contact details) will only be used for purposes related to our business operations — such as quoting, invoicing, and communications regarding your project.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties unless required by law.
All data is handled in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
15. Force Majeure
We shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, fire, flood, pandemics, or civil disturbances.
Thank You
We value your business and look forward to working with you.
